The European Communities Payment Services Regulations 2018 (PSD2) were transposed into Irish Law on the 13th January 2018. The purpose of PSD2 is to:

  • Make it easier and safer to use internet payment services;
  • Protect consumers against fraud, abuse and payment problems;
  • Promote innovative mobile and internet payment services;
  • Strengthen consumer rights.

Under Regulation 78(1) St. Francis Credit Union Limited is required to provide members with a new Framework Contract. Our Framework Contract can be found here and is available on request at any of our offices.”
